Patterned Journal Pocket Die Set - Video Tutorial

This video features the Patterned Journal Pocket Die, a set of three dies.

With this set, you'll create gorgeous 4.1" x 5" folio pockets for your cards, folios, journals, albums, and planners.

It includes a diagonal, scalloped pocket die, a stitched layering die, and a patterned slot plate, offering you two pocket design options.

Die-cut the pocket and its matting layer.

At this point, you already have all you need for a beautiful, scalloped folio pocket.

If you prefer the patterned pocket, place the slotted pattern plate inside the layering die, aligning it to the lower left corner, and die-cut them together.

As you can see, the pattern plate is easy to clean.

Fold the pocket flaps along the embossed lines.

Apply glue to the flaps, and place the pocket in your journal

When you apply glue to the edges of the matting layer, be sure to avoid the slot area, the top, and the diagonal edge.

Your pocket is almost ready!

Embellish it, insert tags, cards, and photos, and fill it with love.

Remember, you have two pocket-style options, so there is plenty of room for creativity.

Here is a green scalloped plain pocket with two openings for inserts, and here is a purple patterned one with three openings.
