Lattice Journal Pocket Die Set - Video Tutorial
(Video captions)
This video features the Lattice Journal Pocket Die Set.
It includes a diagonal, scalloped pocket die and a decorative, stitched, lattice layering die.
With this set, you'll create gorgeous 4.25" x 4.25" decorative pockets for your cards, folios, journals, albums, and planners.
Die-cut the pocket and its lattice layer.
As you can see, the lattice die is easy to clean.
Fold the pocket flaps along the embossed lines.
When applying glue to the lattice die-cut, be sure to apply it only on the long straight edges so that it can be used as another pocket opening.
Tip: You can use the lattice die-cut as a stand-alone pocket or as a decorative element for your projects.
In this video, we left the short edges without glue, and we suggest you do the same until you decide how to position the pocket.
The pocket is symmetrical, so you can use it as a left or right pocket.
Once you decide, apply glue to the lower edge to form a pocket.
This way, you can ensure it will hold your inserts tucked in.
Your pocket is almost ready!
Apply glue to the flaps, and place the pocket in your album.
Embellish it, insert tags, cards, and photos, and fill it with love.
Here is a Christmas card with two openings for inserts, showing how beautifully the pocket fits on an A2 card.
Enjoy!
